Pakistan to make decisions, who will stay here, who will not: Foreign Office

Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan has made it clear that decisions regarding people living in Pakistan are within the power of Pakistan, and Pakistan will decide who will stay here and who will not.

Briefing journalists, Shafqat Ali Khan said that the issue of refugees between Pakistan and Afghanistan has been a regular agenda item between the leaders of the two countries. He said that undocumented people will be sent back because Pakistan has complete control over its territory. He urged Germany to accept Afghan refugees as promised so that the issue can be resolved in a better way. The Foreign Office Spokesperson rejected the allegations of attacks against Pakistan in Afghanistan and called for more cooperation from Afghanistan against terrorism. He said that safe havens for terrorists, especially in Afghanistan, are a serious problem that is hindering relations between the two countries. Shafqat Ali Khan said that the Taliban should not allow their territory to be used for terrorism against Pakistan so that peace can be established in the region.
