Where is she? Search has intensified for a missing Omani woman Safia Bint Ahmad Bin Khalifa in Pakistan.
The mysterious disappearance of Safia bint Ahmed bin Khalifa, a 29-year-old woman who came to Pakistan from Oman, along with her companion, has become a mystery. The woman’s passport, laptop and mobile phones have been found, but where is Safia herself? No one has been able to answer this question yet.
Safia arrived in Lahore from Muscat, Oman, on April 19. Her destination was Peshawar. She was accompanied by 22-year-old Onis at the Lahore airport. Both of them left the airport and then disappeared as if they had dissolved into thin air.
According to police sources, the investigation into the disappearance case has reached Phase Three of Hayatabad, Peshawar. Safia’s passport, two mobile phones and a laptop were recovered from a house here. Five suspects have also been taken into custody from the same house, but Safia and her companion, Onis, are still missing.

The accused’s lawyer told the media, “There were six people, one of them came to me. I filed a detention file in the Peshawar High Court, and the court gave instructions that all six people were illegally arrested.”
The police have registered a case in their complaint, but the investigation process is slow and unclear. Initial investigation has revealed that money was transferred from Oman to the bank account of Onis’ mother, Muslim Bibi, several times.
The disappearance of Safiya and Onis has raised many questions. Is this kidnapping? Was there a plan for human trafficking? Or is the matter something else that is being kept under wraps?
The silence of the police, the helplessness of the system, and the slowness of the investigative agencies are deepening this question: “If both of them have gone, where have they gone?”
