SWAT: A wild bear attacked a 12-year-old girl, Kausar bint Muhammad Karim, in the Aryani Konnet area of Bahrain, leaving her seriously injured, according to local police. The girl received initial medical treatment in Madin before being referred to Saidu Sharif Hospital for further care.
Police reported that the same bear had previously attacked a sacrificial animal before Eid, raising concerns among residents. Locals warned that the aggressive bear poses a serious threat to people and livestock in Konnet, Chankur, Khalot, Gargobanda, and Gadar.
The community has urged the Wildlife Department and Swat administration to take immediate action, fearing that delays could lead to further attacks and loss of precious lives.
