PESHAWAR: various parts of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa received rain snowfall, increasing the intensity of cold on Tuesday.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department reported that Peshawar, Mardan, Nowshera, Swabi, Karak, Kohat, Charsadda, and other cities have been experiencing rain, with downpours expected to continue over the next 24 hours.
Meteorological Department said that upper areas of the province including Malakand and Hazra Divisions will receive rain and snowfall till March 1, urging citizens to exercise caution.
Since Monday, the highest rainfall 13mm recorded in Kalam, 13 mm, and 11 mm in Upper Dir.
Intermittent rain will continue in plain areas including Peshawar during the next 24 hours.
The minimum temperature in Peshawar is 9 degrees Celsius while humidity in the air is 70 percent.
It also forecast that Intermittent rain will continue in southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as well. Since last night, 10 mm of rain recorded in DI Khan, 6 mm of rain recorded in Bannu during the last 24 hours, Meteorological Department
The minimum temperature in Bannu was 10 while in DI Khan 11 degrees Celsius was recorded.
Temperature in Chitral was minus 4, in Kalam minus 1, in Upper Dir 1, while in Malam Jabba the temperature was recorded at 2 degrees Celsius.
