SWAT: A woman was killed in the name of honour in Swaigalai area of tehsil Kabal in Swat on Thursday afternoon.
According to the police the slain woman husband was killed a month ago.
Police said the dead body of the woman had been shifted to a nearby hospital. According to police sources, a murder incident has come to light in the village of Swaiglai in Tehsil Kabal.
According to the police report, the widow was allegedly killed in the name of honor and the body was handed over to her heirs after the medico legal procedure, while a case has been registered at police station Kabal and raids were being conducted to arrest the accused.
The slain woman’s spouse, Bakht Zarin, was killed in Rahimabad last month in the same context.
