Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari on Tuesday accused the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government of mismanaging funds and dismissing 182 employees of the Rehabilitation Center Project in a single day.
Bokhari claimed the KP information department had allocated millions of rupees to a social media brigade allegedly involved in anti-national security propaganda, while failing to provide salaries for its employees. She added that local representatives in KP have been protesting for two years due to a lack of funds, and employees of educational institutions are also facing financial hardships.
In contrast, Bokhari highlighted Punjab’s progress under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, stating that over 100,000 jobs had been created through the “Suthra Punjab” initiative, alongside millions of employment opportunities generated by various development projects.

“Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is dedicated to serving the people, while the opposition is busy snatching food from the masses,” Bokhari said.
The KP government has yet to respond to these allegations.
