Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) spokesperson Saifullah Khan told the Media on Friday that all airports across the country remain open, and that any flight cancellations are at the discretion of individual airlines.
His statement comes after Emirates suspended its operations in Pakistan until May 10, citing “ongoing uncertainty surrounding access to the country’s airspace and airports.”

Qatar Airways has also temporarily halted flights to and from Pakistan and India. In a post on X, the airline said that outbound and inbound flights between Doha and the cities of Lahore, Islamabad, Multan, Peshawar, Sialkot, and Amritsar will be suspended on May 8, 9, and 10.
Amid fear of a Pakistan attack, a total of 27 airports across northern, western, and central India have shut down for commercial operations until Saturday, May 10.
