ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information Atta Tarar has termed the incident of India firing ballistic missiles at its own Sikh citizens as a deep and sinister conspiracy, which is aimed at intimidating minorities and diverting global attention from real issues.
In his statement, Atta Tarar said that these cowardly and shameful actions of the Indian government are not only a serious violation of human rights but are also exposing the real face of India before the international community. He said that targeting minorities, especially Sikhs, is a clear proof of India’s internal malice. The Federal Minister said that Pakistan expresses complete solidarity with the Sikh community at this critical time and demands the international community to take serious notice of India’s extremist policies. Atta Tarar further said that Pakistan desires peace and stability in the region but standing with every oppressed person is part of its principled policy.
