PESHAWAR: At least two police personnel, including a sub-inspector, were martyred in a blast on Sunday in the Chamkani area of Peshawar, according to police officials.
The explosion occurred near a police mobile van stationed near Ring Road’s mandi. Two officers lost their lives, while three others sustained injuries in the incident.
The Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Operations confirmed that it was a suicide attack that targeted the police vehicle.
