Upper & Central Kurram tribes sign peace deal

KURRAM: A new peace deal has been signed between the Upper Kurram and Central Kurram tribes, marking the third such agreement in the region. Tribal elders, local leaders, and administration officials gathered in Khumsa to finalize the agreement, with representatives from Kadman, Dongila, Khamd, and Chamkani also participating.

Local elders emphasized that peace is essential for the area, which has suffered years of conflict and loss of life. They expressed hope that this agreement would bring stability and open doors for development. The Kurram Commissioner stated that more peace efforts will follow, and the administration will ensure the agreement is fully implemented .
