ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to depart for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) today on an official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and enhancing economic cooperation between the two brotherly nations.
According to the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Prime Minister will be accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, several federal ministers, and senior government officials.
During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to meet with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The two leaders will discuss a wide range of topics, including bilateral relations, opportunities for economic collaboration, trade and investment prospects, and regional developments of mutual interest.
The visit comes at a time when both countries are looking to deepen their strategic partnership.
