BANNU: The Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Bannu has indefinitely postponed the ongoing matriculation annual examinations in North Waziristan for the second time, citing worsening security conditions in the region.

In an official notification, the board’s Controller of Examinations stated that the exams have been delayed until further notice due to the unstable law and order situation. A new schedule will be announced only when conditions improve.

The decision affects thousands of students, examination staff, and school administrators across North Waziristan who were preparing for the crucial tests. This marks the second postponement of the 2025 matric exams in the district, leaving students in limbo about their academic future.
