Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has said that the Good Governance Roadmap has been prepared after a careful review of the governance situation in various sectors in the province during the last 15 months.
Addressing the launch ceremony of the Good Governance Roadmap, the Chief Minister said that this roadmap sets out the key priorities of the provincial government in the areas of governance, development and security.
The Chief Minister paid tribute to the Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary and their team for preparing this plan.
He said that the roadmap will be a yardstick to evaluate the performance of departments and institutions as well as government officers and a system of punishment and reward will be formulated under it.
Ali Amin Gandapur said that the promotion and posting transfers of officers will be based on their performance and through this roadmap, in addition to improving service delivery in the province, transparency and merit will also be ensured in the system.
The Chief Minister said that the implementation of this roadmap will significantly improve governance in the province. He said that there is always room for improvement and efforts are being made to make service delivery in line with public needs and expectations.
He said that the good governance roadmap will play a key role in implementing our vision and it is a governance roadmap that includes service delivery, security and development.
The Chief Minister said that it is very important to have a system of punishment and reward to improve governance.
He said that this roadmap has been prepared with great effort and requested the participants to give suggestions so that it can be further improved.
Ali Amin Gandapur said that during the last 15 months, work has been done to fully utilize the potential sectors of the province and we all have to work together to address all the challenges including governance, and security.
