Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has been awarded Azerbaijan’s highest Patriotic War Medal

Field Marshal Asim Munir hold meeting with Azerbaijan’s Deputy Defense Minister and Chief of General Staff Colonel General Karim and discussed matters of mutual interest and regional security.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Field Marshal congratulated the Azerbaijan-Armenia conflict on a peaceful resolution. The meeting also agreed to enhance defence cooperation and joint efforts for peace and stability in the region.

Field Marshal Asim Munir has been awarded Azerbaijan’s highest Patriotic War Medal in recognition of his services in the field of military cooperation. According to the ISPR, the Field Marshal expressed his determination to further strengthen the exemplary relations with Azerbaijan.

The Deputy Minister of Defence of Azerbaijan paid tribute to the professionalism of the Pakistan Army, the success of Operation Banyan Marsus, and expressed best wishes for the Independence Day and Victory Day celebrations.

The Field Marshal thanked Azerbaijan for its solidarity during the Battle of Marka-e-Haq and for participating in the Independence Day ceremony. In the meeting, the military leadership agreed to enhance defence cooperation and joint efforts for peace and stability in the region.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir was awarded the highest Patriotic War Medal of Azerbaijan. The Patriotic War Medal was awarded by President Ilham Aliyev in recognition of his services in the field of military cooperation. Colonel General Karim appreciated Pakistan’s efforts against terrorism.
