Imran Khan Bench changed

ISLAMABAD: The bench hearing bail application pleas filed by PTI Imran Khan in the May 9 cases has been changed in the Supreme Court.

Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi has been included in the new bench in place of Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb. A three-member bench headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan will now hear this important case, which is likely to begin at 10:30 am.

Imran Khan has approached the Supreme Court for bail in various cases related to the violent incidents that took place on May 9, 2023. These cases include allegations of sedition, arson and attacks on sensitive installations.

The change in the bench by the Supreme Court comes at a time when the political atmosphere in the country is once again tense, and the PTI is calling these cases political vendettas.

The bench change is being closely watched in political and legal circles, as the nature of the cases filed against Imran Khan and his current political status give the case extraordinary importance. It is being speculated that the hearing of this case could have a profound impact on the country’s politics.
