A US Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter jet crashed into the sea near the coast of Virginia. According to US media reports, the pilot was successfully rescued from the water and has been transferred to a local hospital for medical evaluation.

An official investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the accident. This incident marks a concerning trend, as it is reportedly the sixth US F-18 aircraft to be destroyed within the past ten months.
