KHANEWAL: The roof of the City Police Station in Khanewal district of Punjab collapsed due to heavy rains.
Rescue sources confirmed that the roof of the record room was completely destroyed. Fortunately, the clerk and staff who were supposed to be in the room were not present at the time, preventing any casualties. However, equipment and important documents inside the room were damaged.
Sources confirmed that the building has been evacuated as a safety precaution. The collapsed record room was adjacent to the barracks housing detainees.

Police are assessing the damage and planning repairs to ensure the safety of police personnel and detainees.
