PESHAWAR: Michael Galloway, Deputy Director for Polio at the Gates Foundation, met with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah on Saturday to discuss ongoing efforts to eradicate polio in the province.
Both parties agreed to enhance cooperation and strengthen vaccination campaigns to eliminate the disease.
The meeting focused on advancing the polio eradication campaign launched in April, ensuring the continuation of vaccination drives, and improving public cooperation.
Special Secretary Health and Coordinator of the Provincial Emergency Operations Center (EOC), Abdul Basit, also attended the discussion.
