Balochistan bans nighttime movement of public transport

QUETTA: Authorities in several districts of Balochistan have banned nighttime movement of buses and public transport.

Deputy Commissioners of Zhob, Kachhi, and Musa Khel issued the orders.

In Zhob, passenger buses and coaches on the Quetta-Dera Ismail Khan route cannot operate from 6 PM to 5 AM. This ban starts on March 27 and remains in effect until further notice.

In Kachhi, authorities have imposed similar restrictions from March 28. Public transport cannot enter the Bolan area from 5 PM to 5 AM.

During these hours, transport from Sibi to Quetta will stop at Nari Bank railway station. Traffic from Quetta to Sibi will halt at Kolpur.

In Musa Khel, all public and private transport, including small and large vehicles, will be banned on the N-70 National Highway from 6 PM to 5 AM starting March 28.

Vehicles traveling from Loralai to Dera Ghazi Khan (Punjab) will stop at Gangri during restricted hours.
