KP Governor Prays for National Unity, Remembers Martyrs on Eid

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa KP Governor Faisal Karim Kundi extended warm Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the nation and the Muslim Ummah, emphasizing the festival’s spirit of unity, brotherhood, and peace.

In his message, the governor described Eid as a divine blessing that fosters solidarity among Muslims. He urged citizens to uphold harmony, particularly in the current challenging times, to ensure lasting peace in the country and the province.

“Eid-ul-Fitr is a celebration of shared happiness, reflecting the bonds of love and togetherness within our society,” he stated.

Governor Kundi also paid tribute to security personnel and police martyrs who laid down their lives for peace, acknowledging their sacrifices as the foundation of the nation’s safety. “We honor the martyrs and their families—our joys today are owed to their bravery,” he said.

He further called for compassion toward underprivileged communities, urging people to include them in Eid festivities. The governor concluded with a prayer for the acceptance of Ramadan’s worship and divine blessings for all.
