LAKKI MARWAT: Armed terrorists stormed a mosque in Langar Khel Paka, Lakki Marwat, triggering a gunfight with locals. Before police arrived, villagers took control of the situation and confronted the militants.
The terrorists negotiated with the locals. The locals forced the terrorists to swear on the Quran that they would never return. Only after this assurance, they were allowed to leave.
Aaj news cited police sources reported that police confirmed that the militants swore on the Quran as a guarantee that they would not revisit Langar Khel Paka.

Authorities have not issued an official statement. However, the release of terrorists under such conditions has raised serious security concerns. Police say an investigation is underway, and security in the area will be tightened.
