PESHAWAR: Federal Minister for Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Affairs and SAFRON Engineer Amir Muqam has said that civil and military leadership are on the same page for the country’s sake, progress and prosperity.
While addressing the Muslim League Thanksgiving Day (Yaume Tashakur) rally in Peshawar, Federal Minister Amir Muqam said that the Muslim League-N had saved the state by sacrificing its politics and now, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, the country is on the path of development. When the current government came to power, the inflation rate was 38 percent; from bread to diesel and petrol prices were increasing.
He said the target of the Muslim League was to bring inflation to single digits by 2026. The Muslim League, together with all its allies, made the impossible possible.
Federal Minister Amir Muqam said that the stock exchange had been going high, the country’s economy and exports are increasing, there was a group that used to ask Pakistanis abroad not to send remittances, and political opponents were waiting for Pakistan to default, but they have been disappointed.
He said that the Prime Minister’s relief to the people in electricity prices is an Eid gift, this relief did not go to one party but to the whole of Pakistan, people have understood that only Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif can provide relief to the people, the federal government of the Muslim League gave more than 6 billion rupees to 6,700 people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, scholarships and jobs are being provided under the youth program under the supervision of Rana Mashhood. Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON Engineer Amir Muqam further said that if you compare Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, what improvement has been made? The country is developing under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif.
Mr Muqam said the Army Chief was taking a keen interest in solving the country’s economic problems. If everyone is on the same page, the country will move forward. Politics will have to come together.
