ISLAMABAD: The main streets of Islamabad, the federal capital, have been brightened by vibrant portraits of the teams participating in the Pakistan Super League 10 (PSL X). The twin cities are preparing to host the opening ceremony on April 11 at the Rawalpindi Stadium.
The opening match of the six-team tournament will take place on the same day, featuring defending champions Islamabad United against two-time winners Lahore Qalandars. The first ball will be bowled at 8:30 PM.
This marquee event will be held at four venues: Karachi’s National Bank Stadium, Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, Multan Cricket Stadium, and Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The tournament final is scheduled for May 18 at the Gaddafi Stadium.
The opening ceremony at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will showcase an exciting lineup, including renowned Sufi music artist Abida Parveen, a cultural performance by Ali Zafar, and a contemporary act by Young Stunners. Additionally, the performers of the HBL PSL X anthem—Abrar ul Haq, Ali Zafar, Natasha Baig, and Talha Anjum—will also take the stage. Fans can look forward to a spectacular fireworks display during the event.
