RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Super League (PSL) X opening ceremony was held with colorful and vibrant events here at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Friday evening.
The opening ceremony of Pakistan Super League X is underway at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The ceremony began with the national anthem, after which the PSL 3 trophy was brought to the stage. Senior actor Hamza Ali Abbasi is hosting the ceremony.
Renowned singer Abida Parveen presented a mystical poem at the opening ceremony.
A large number of cricket lovers are present in the stadium on this occasion.
The first match of the Pakistan Super League 10 will be played between Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars at 8:30 pm.
Famous artists Ali Zafar, Abrarul Haq, Natasha Baig, Talha Anjum and Young Stunners will also perform at the opening ceremony, and a fireworks display will also be held on this occasion.
Tight security has been prepared for the event, and holding the league in hot weather is a challenge.
Many big names in the world of cricket will appear in the commentary, including former England captain Sir Alastair Cook, Wasim Akram, and former MCC president Mark Nicholls.
