Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON and President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Engineer Amir Muqam has said that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the former FATA have always played the role of a frontline force in the defense of Pakistan and even today every Pakhtun is standing in the forefront to protect their homeland.
Addressing a public gathering in the Matta area of Swat, Federal Minister Engineer Amir Muqam strongly condemned the allegations leveled against Pakistan by India without research and investigation and said that we have neither accepted the abrogation of the special status of occupied Kashmir by India on August 5, 2019 nor will we do so in the future.
Terming India’s threat to terminate the Indus Waters Treaty as foolish, Amir Muqam said that this is an international agreement, and it cannot be terminated unilaterally. He said that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa stand by their army, and those who carried out the nuclear explosions on May 28 are still there today. “We will respond to you in the same way as we did on May 28, 1998,” Muqam warns India.
He said that if India talks about humanity, then why was it silent on the arrest of a terrorist like Kulbhushan Jadhav? India had been found involved in terrorism not only in Pakistan but also all over the world. He said that India is trying to put pressure on the Pakistani government and people to withdraw their support for Kashmir, but they were with the Kashmiris yesterday, are today and will remain with them tomorrow.
Amir Muqam said that there was a government in Pakistan under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif, and they were ready to give a befitting reply to every conspiracy and threat from India. He criticised the PTI and said that the agenda of the PTI was to destroy the country, but the people now knew who the ones were who made the difference between the development and destruction of the country.
The Federal Minister termed the establishment of the existing gas pipeline and grade stations in Swat as an achievement of the PML-N and said that the former Chief Minister had also abolished Section Four for the grade station in Matta. “The youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are now attracted towards the PML-N because they have seen the failures of the provincial government over the past twelve years,” Mr Muqam added.

Federal Minister Amir Muqam further said that the leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League-N had always prioritised the interests of the country over politics. The bankrupt country had been put on the track of development within a year under the leadership of Shahbaz Sharif. The inflation rate had come down from 40 per cent to 1.5 per cent.
