Pakistan’s military enhances its reinforcement on the eastern border with India: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif

ISLAMABAD: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said that Pakistan’s military has enhnaced  its reinforcement on the eastern border to thwart any misadventure of the enemy.

In an interview with a foreign news channel, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said that there is a possibility of an attack from India after the Pahalgam false flag operation, and amid this situation government has decided to increase our military strength on the border to counter any misadventure of the enemy.

Khawaja Asif said that in this situation, we needed to take some strategic decisions and those decisions have been taken in the greater national interest. The Pakistani army has informed the government about the possibility of an Indian attack.

Hundreds of targets have been identified across the border to respond to India’s possible misadventure. The Defence Minister further said that both countries should refrain from using the nuclear option. Pakistan is on high alert and will use its nuclear weapons only if there is a direct threat to its existence.
