Anti-India rallies across KP slam Indus treaty suspension

Protest rallies and demonstrations against India continued for the fifth consecutive day across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), denouncing the announcement by the Modi government to suspend the Indus Waters Treaty.
Residents came onto the roads and marched in the different bazaars of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The rally’s participants shouted slogans against India, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and in support of Pakistan armed forces. They also carrying banners, placards inscribed with slogans in support of Kashmir and Pakistan military and against India.
A rally was organised in Bajaur Khar Bazaar under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Bajaur, Shahid Ali Khan, against Indian aggression and proxy in the Pahalgam attack and expressed solidarity with Kashmir.
The rally was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Finance and Planning), the Assistant Commissioner Khar, the Tehsil Chairman and representatives of the Traders Union.
The rally aimed to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir and to give a strong and united message in opposition to Indian aggression and proxy in the Pahalgam attack.

Rallies were also organised in Abbottabad, Kurram, Lower Dir, Khyber, Dir Upper and other districts of the province.
Participants at rallies expressed solidarity with Kashmiri brethren and armed forces and vowed firm support for the military in the difficult time.
