DUBAI: Ahead of the much-anticipated Asia Cup 2025 showdown between Pakistan and India, Dubai Police have issued a stern warning to spectators, stressing that any form of violence, abusive language, or racist behaviour will not be tolerated inside the stadium.

The high-voltage encounter is scheduled for today at the Dubai International Stadium.

Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Events Security Committee of Dubai Police, said offenders could face one to three months in jail along with fines ranging between AED 10,000 and AED 30,000 (PKR 750,000 to 2.3 million).

Authorities urged fans to maintain discipline and demonstrate positive behaviour throughout the match. Any violations, officials warned, would trigger immediate legal action to ensure the safety of spectators and preserve a secure environment at the venue.
