SWAT: The deputy commissioner, Swat, Shahzad Mehboob, has imposed a ban on aerial firing, fireworks, pillion riding, and display of weapons in Swat district to maintain law and order during the moon night and Eid-ul-Fitr.
The order issued by District Magistrate Swat, Shahzad Mehboob, states that such activities not only disturb the peace in the district but can also pose a threat to human lives.
The order further states that in case of violation, legal action will be taken under Section 188 PPC.
The ban will be applicable for 15 days, and during this period, the public has been asked to abide by the law during their moments of celebration and joy so that the law and order situation can be improved.
