MIRANSHAH: Unknown kidnappers abducted three people, including two bank employees and a driver, in the Hormuz area of Mir Ali, North Waziristan.
The victims were identified as the manager of Alfalah Bank’s Miranshah branch, a staff member of UBL’s Miranshah branch, and a private flying coach driver. They were traveling from Miranshah to Bannu after work when the incident occurred.
Following the kidnapping, all banks in Miranshah shut down in protest. Local residents have expressed serious concerns over rising insecurity and demanded the immediate release of the abducted individuals. Authorities have yet to comment on the situation.
