Barrister Saif: KP budget will require PTI founder’s approval

KP Govt Advisor Says Next Budget Will Require PTI Founder’s Approval

PESHAWAR: Barrister  Saif, Information Advisor to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government, stated that the provincial budget for the next financial year will not be approved without consulting PTI’s founder, Imran Khan.

Speaking to the media, Barrister Saif emphasized that the people of KP voted for PTI’s ideology, and any budget decisions must align with the party founder’s guidance. He warned that if an emergency is imposed in the province, the current “fake government” (referring to the federal setup) would not survive even a day.

He further asserted that only the KP Chief Minister has the authority to dissolve the provincial assembly and can do so at any time. Barrister Saif claimed that KP is the only province with a government truly representing the people’s mandate based on Form 45, unlike the federal and other provincial governments, which he alleged were formed through Form 47 and could collapse at any moment.

“The public will not tolerate any insult to their mandate,” he said, adding that “just one push is enough to topple such fake governments.” He vowed that PTI would defend its mandate at all costs.
