PESHAWAR: An earthquake struck parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the federal capital Islamabad on Thursday.
As per details an earthquake of 5.2 magnitude hit parts of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad around 1:35pm.
According to the report, tremors were felt in Peshawar, Swat, Swabi, Mardan, and other district of the province. Tremors were also felt in Buner and its surrounding areas and parts of the Malakand Division.
According to the report, tremors were also felt in the federal capital Islamabad, causing panic among the people.
According to the Seismological Center, the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded as 5.2 on the Richter scale. The center of the earthquake was the border area of Afghanistan and Tajikistan. The deep was 198 kilometres.
