The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday notified eleven elected senators from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
A notification issued by the ECP said that a total of 11 senators, seven general, two technocrats and two women.

The Election Commission of Pakistan has issued list of nine women candidates nominated for the upcoming senate election from The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.
The names include Raheela Bibi resident of Abbottabad, Mashal Azam resident of Sawabi, Sajida Bigum resident of Peshawar,Momina Basit resident of Abbottabad,Sumera Shams resident of Lowe Dir, Sobia Shahid resident of Peshawar, Mahtab Zafar resident of Umarzai, Saima Khalid resident of Haripur and Shazia resident of Charsadda.
According to the official notification issued by ECP, polling for seven general seats, two seats reserved for women, and two for Technocrats, including Ulema, will be held on 21s of this month at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.
Meanwhile, the Election Commission has also announced the schedule for the Senate election on the seat vacated by Dr. Sania Nishtar. In addition, the ECP has also released a notification regarding the postponed election process for the Senate seat vacated due to the demise of Senator Sajid Mir.
As per the revised schedule, the Returning Officer will issue the revised list of candidates on 15th of this month, and nomination papers can be withdrawn by 16t
