DUKKI: A joint operation by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and other law enforcement agencies on Saturday resulted in the deaths of five terrorists in Balochistan’s Dukki district.
The operation was initiated based on intelligence reports indicating the presence of militants associated with a banned organization in the Dhabar Pahari area.
According to CTD officials, the militants opened indiscriminate fire upon spotting the security personnel, leading to a fierce exchange that culminated in the elimination of all five terrorists.
The deceased were reportedly involved in attacks targeting security forces, coal mine workers, and civilians in the region. Their bodies have been transferred to the Civil Hospital Dukki for identification and further procedures.
