NOWSHERA:Police in Nowshera have solved the tragic case of three siblings poisoned in Azakhel on May 19th. They allege the children were killed by their own grandmother.
The victims – 7-year-old Maryam, 5-year-old Hareem, and 4-year-old Muhammad Yaman – died after consuming poisoned milk. Their mother also drank the milk but survived. She was not home initially; all were rushed to Qazi Hussain Ahmed Medical Complex Hospital where the children passed away.
Following an investigation, police identified the children’s grandmother, Ms. Shaheen Bibi, as the suspect. Authorities state that during questioning, Shaheen Bibi confessed. She allegedly claimed she poisoned the milk intending to kill her daughter-in-law, Ms. Ash Bibi, due to daily arguments, but the children drank it instead.

Police have registered a formal case against Shaheen Bibi based on a complaint filed by the children’s father, Bakht Sher
