The department emphasized staying hydrated, wearing lightweight clothing, and using sun protection. Travelers to regions with rain forecasts should exercise caution due to potential slippery roads.
Meteorologists indicate this heat wave could persist for several more days, urging vulnerable groups like children and the elderly to minimize sun exposure. No major temperature relief is anticipated soon.
