RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi police on Tuesday arrested the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s sisters and other top leadership of the party outside the Adiala jail, where their party founder, Imran Khan, has been incarcerated for the last 19 months in various cases.
The development came after clashes erupted between the Punjab police personnel and the PTI workers near the Adiala jail, where the PTI workers allegedly pelted stones at the police personnel.
According to media reports, the PTI’s prominent female leader, Alliya Hamza, has been arrested outside Adiala Jail and sent to police lockups.
The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf leaders and workers are present outside Adiala Jail, demanding a meeting of PTI founder Aleema Khan and others with Imran Khan.
