ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has categorically rejected all baseless allegations made by India regarding the recent attack in Pahalgam, Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), said Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry.
In an interview with Turkish media outlet TRT, the DG ISPR stated that India has a history of exploiting terrorist incidents for political gain by blaming Pakistan without evidence. “Once again, India has made unfounded accusations against Pakistan. This blame game must stop,” he said.
According to the military spokesperson, following the attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Pakistan demonstrated responsibility by offering India an independent and impartial investigation. However, India declined the offer, raising questions over its intent.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif further revealed that India carried out attacks at six different locations inside Pakistan, targeting civilians. “India even bombed a mosque, killing women and children,” he added.
He emphasized that the Indian strikes were conducted without any credible proof. “Pakistan completely rejects these baseless allegations and demands that India, if it has any evidence, should present it to a neutral country for verification,” he said.
