PESHAWAR: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman on Wednesday announced a peace march in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in next month.
Addressing a press conference, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman blamed America and India for terrorism in Pakistan.
He also strongly criticised the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and said that the provincial and federal governments are incompetent and unable to restore peace.
Talking about the prevailing situation in Balochistan, he said JI will organise a programme in Islamabad on April 14 on the situation in Balochistan. The chieftains of Balochistan are on one side and the people are on the other.
“We are running a movement for the rights of the people and restoration of peace,” he said.
Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said that a peace march will be held in Peshawar on April 20 on the situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Over one lakh people were martyred against terrorism but there was no peace.
He also criticised the Taliban-led Afghan government for preventing terrorists from using its land for cross-border attacks in Pakistan.
He said that the government is making announcements about reducing electricity prices but there is no action. We will mobilize the people after Eid-ul-Fitr. The government’s performance is only limited to advertisements. And the solar policy is also being brought as anti-people. While the government is continuously increasing the salaries of its ministers and members.

Talking about the situation in Karachi, he said that Karachi has been left abandoned. And 3,500 dumpers are still running in Karachi during the day.
