PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government collected Rs41.9 billion rupees in revenue in the first 10 months of the current financial year, which is 40 % more than the same period of the previous financial year of 2023-2024. This year, the agency’s revenue recorded an increase of Rs12 billion. According to KPRA, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government collected Rs41.9 billion in revenue in the first 10 months of the current fiscal year, 40 % more than the same period of the previous fiscal year. In the first 10 months of the last year, 2024-2025 a total of Rs 29.9 billion in revenue were collected. This year, the organisation’s revenue recorded an increase of Rs 12 billion. In ten months, Rs 32.4 billion was collected in the head of sales tax on services, and Rs 9.51 billion in infrastructure development cess. During the current fiscal year, there has been an increase of 27% in sales tax on services and 117 percent in infrastructure development. The spokesperson of CAPRA said that they will be ahead by collecting revenue exceeding the target of Rs 47 billion set for the current fiscal year.
