KP govt announces major reshuffle of 15 senior officers

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Establishment Department has ordered a large-scale transfer and posting of 15 high-ranking administrative officers, effective immediately.

The changes, announced through two separate official notifications, are stated to be made “in the public interest.”

Captain (retd) Khalid Mahmood appointed as new Commissioner, replacing Muhammad Ali Shah (who must report to the Establishment Dept).

Wasiq Rehman posted to Mardan; Fahad Wazir to Upper Chitral; Dr. Azmatullah Wazir moved from Mardan to Charsadda; Ishtiaq Ahmed from Kolai Palas to Battagram; Noorul Amin to Kolai Palas; Najmullah to Tank.

Qaiser Khan made Additional Secretary Home & Tribal Affairs; Asif Ali appointed Additional Secretary Climate Change; Dr. Adnan Khan posted as Additional Secretary in the Chief Secretary’s Office

Further, Shakeel Akbar appointed DMO for Education Monitoring Authority; Tehmin Shah as Assistant Commissioner Rud Kohi; Syed Gulfam Abbas Shah as Settlement Officer Mansehra.

The notifications also directed Haseeb-ur-Rehman (former DC Upper Chitral) and Khalid Iqbal (transferred to P&D Dept for reassignment) to report to the Establishment Department.
