KP govt establishes Rescue 1122 stations near popular tourist spots

PESHAWAR: The KP government with the support of the World Bank-assisted KITE Project, has established Rescue 1122 stations near popular tourist spots, operating 24/7 to assist tourists and locals alike, ensuring rapid response time.

State-of-the-art machinery, including ambulances and advanced prefabricated offices, enable Rescue 1122 to deliver effective public services, making Khyber Pakhtunkhwa a safer destination for tourists and residents.

These rescue stations have been established near various tourist destinations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where modern heavy machinery and equipment as well as modern ambulances have been provided. The aim of these stations is to provide immediate medical assistance to tourists in any unforeseen situation.

To protect tourists and provide them with emergency services, these Rescue 1122 stations will remain operational 24 hours a day and their staff will respond immediately in emergency situations.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government says that this initiative will further promote tourism and provide security and convenience to tourists.
