KP Police suspended 42 personnel in Orakzai after refusal to perform duty

ORAKZAI: As many as 42 police personnel have been suspended after violating police order and discipline while refusing to perform duty at various check posts of Orakzai district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

After the suspension, fears of administrative and internal issues have arisen in the police system. According to police statement, clear orders were issued to the concerned employees for duty at the check post, but they refused to attend. Taking immediate action, the police department suspended all the officers on notification order.

Moreover, an inquiry committee headed by the SP investigation has been formed to fully investigate the incident, which will demand a written response from each suspended official and determine the reasons for the incident.

Police officials say that further action will be taken based on the inquiry report, and if there is evidence of systematic disobedience or internal differences, more stringent action will be taken.

This incident is raising questions about the discipline and administrative control of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police, on which the top authorities have taken serious notice and started taking immediate measures.
