Nawaz Sharif Denies Health Rumors, Says He’s Perfectly Fine

LONDON: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday promised to work on resolving issues related to Sindh’s canals and Balochistan.

Speaking to the media in London, Nawaz said, “I will do whatever I can on the issue of the Sindh canals and Balochistan.” He added that Pakistan was moving in the right direction and commended Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for his efforts in stabilizing the economy. “Shehbaz has put the declining economy on its feet,” he stated.

Nawaz emphasized the need for collective efforts in Pakistan’s development and dismissed rumors about his health, saying, “My health is completely fine—wrong news was spread.”

He also praised Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for her work, denying allegations of any meritless appointments in the province. Additionally, he mentioned ongoing projects to restore Lahore to its former glory.

“Many projects are underway for Lahore’s rehabilitation, and the city will soon return to its original state,” he assured.
