Pakistan downed 5 Indian jets and destroyed several installations: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that Pakistan will never compromise on its sovereignty and independence.

DG ISPR, along with Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and Pakistan Navy (NV) spokesmen, is addressing an extremely important press conference for the international media exposing India’s false flag Pahalgam attack, and India’s missile and drone attacks on Pakistan that killed innocent civilians.

DG ISPR reiterated questions over the Pahalgam attack, saying that within ten minutes how did India found out who carried out the attack. Further more, he stated that within ten minutes, people figured out who was involved in the attack.”

“India continues to engage in a smear campaign and baseless allegations while its own actions on the ground reflect aggression against unarmed civilians,” DG ISPR stated.

India accusing Pakistan to divert attention from internal issues

The DG ISPR said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Indian government was blaming Pakistan in connection with the Pahalgam incident, a popular destination in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOK), to divert attention from internal crises.

Speaking to international media, DG ISPR revealed that terrorist camps are operating within India, and Indian officials themselves have admitted to backing militants in Balochistan.

“India is also involved in terrorist incidents around the world, including within Pakistan,” the ISPR DG claimed, and cited the alleged arrest of an Indian spy in Jhelum prior to the Pahalgam incident as evidence. “Electronic devices and explosives were recovered from the arrested Indian spy.”

The military spokesman further said terrorist training camps were operating inside India, from where Indian intelligence agency officers were directing terrorists to carry out attacks on public places.

DG ISPR stated that since January 2024, the country has witnessed over 3,700 terrorist incidents. He attributed the rise in violence to alleged foreign interference, primarily blaming India for backing militant groups.”

33 civilians martyred, 62 injured in India attacks

DG ISPR Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry stated that Indian aggression has so far claimed the lives of 33 civilians and left 62 others injured.

While addressing the international media, DG ISPR remarked, “That’s the price we have paid.”

“Every drop of blood is etched in the conscience of Pakistan’s armed forces, its people, and the state,” he emphasised.

He added that India is frustrated over the downing of a modern, French-made Rafale fighter jet by Pakistan. The DG ISPR further cautioned that India’s actions are endangering global peace at stake.
