Opposition leader KP alleges massive corruption in province

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) assembly’s opposition leader Ibadullah Khan has said that Murad Saeed has done nothing but ruin and destroy the province. If anyone comes out on Murad Saeed’s call, then there can be no greater misfortune for the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The KP opposition leader, Ibadullah Khan, stated this while talking to Pakhtun Digital in Peshawar on Monday.

He said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf was not an ideological party; they all fought for their own interests and positions. No one was talking about the problems of the province. The biggest problem of this province is terrorism, and unfortunately, no one is talking about that.

Mr Ibad further said that the government officers were being posted and transferred through bribes in the province.

He added that development projects were not approved until they received a bribe. Payment of money to contractors was also conditional on bribes.

The opposition leader said that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa should compare the development plan and quality of development of their province with Punjab and Sindh, so that they can understand which political party is better for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the interests of the province and the country.
