PESHAWAR: Following the Pahalgam false flag operation in Indian-administered Kashmir, there has been a sudden increase in terrorist incidents in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, carried out by terrorists in various parts of the country, and it seems that India wants to derail the CEPEC route passing through the southern districts of the country.
Pakistani officials are linking these attacks to the Pak-India tension and India’s allegations that, according to them, India is spreading unrest and terrorism inside Pakistan by funding terrorists on Afghan soil.
According to the ISPR, in the past few days, terrorists have tried to enter the Afghan border, against whom 71 terrorists were killed in the operation, who were allegedly Indian-funded and from whom a large quantity of weapons were also recovered.
According to Pakistani officials, India is preparing for war and is also trying to carry out terrorism in Pakistan from Afghanistan.
After the Indian accusations against Pakistan, there have been continuous terrorist attempts on the Pak-Afghan border, which have been foiled by security forces, while forces are on high alert in the Pak-Afghan border areas.
According to security officials, 71 terrorists were killed in various operations, the first time such a large number of terrorists have been killed at one time.
On Monday, a terrorist attack took place outside an Aman Lashkar office in South Waziristan, in which nine people were killed and about 14 were injured. In addition, an attack took place in Lakki Marwat on Tuesday morning and clashes broke out with Aman Lashkar, while an attempt was made to target a police DSP in DI Khan, but no casualties were reported.
According to independent analysts, India often tries to target CPEC routes through terrorists, and India provides direct funding in this regard. India has had a major role and influence in Afghanistan since Ashraf Ghani’s time.
Mahmood Jan Babar is a senior journalist from Peshawar and keeps a close eye on Afghan affairs and terrorism. According to him, India is against Chinese projects inside Pakistan and is allegedly trying to target them. He said that the fact is that both the operations and tensions in Kashmir and Waziristan have the same meaning.
In fact, Pakistan understands, and as is the general opinion here, and which is also the opinion of our government, that India’s target is not Pakistan, but China’s interests inside Pakistan, and China’s biggest interest in this region is CPEC, because if CPEC passes, BRI will be formed, and if BRI is formed, its access to half the world will become even easier.
If you look, what is happening towards Waziristan is not limited to Waziristan. If it comes to Lakki Marwat, then the CPEC route passes through Lakki Marwat.
The general opinion here is that the Taliban coming from Lakki Marwat, and targeting nearby areas like DI Khan for a specific reason, is only to make China’s CPEC route passing through here difficult in some way and to harm Pakistan and China by creating problems here.
He said that the general opinion is that those who are fighting with Pakistan are being funded, now from India. India itself cannot come directly and fight here, so both things are almost the same, because the target of both is the same, and that is China’s CPEC route.
That is why China has also clearly announced to stand with Pakistan. Otherwise, why would it come between the two countries, when India is such a big market for it? Its goods go to India, goods come from India, its trade is sufficient, but when it has come into this conflict, it means that its major interests are being affected. That is why it has raised its voice.
He said that all the other surrounding countries are also standing with China and the Pakistan bloc at this time. The reason for this is that all this cannot be seen separately.
It cannot be seen in isolation that you see Waziristan separately and Kashmir separately. No, all this is part of the same game that in some way CPEC should be weakened and problems should be created for China inside Pakistan, that is why Pakistan and China have also united.
