Afghan refugee, who returned home after 45 years of hosting, has issued an emotional message thanking Pakistan for its wonderful hospitality. He said that Pakistan nurtured and honored us, and now he is returning to his homeland, Afghanistan, with honour.
The Afghan refugee said before returning home that when we came to Pakistan, we had nothing, but today when we are going back, we have a whole truck full of goods. He prayed for Pakistan and said that may Allah Almighty always keep Pakistan in his protection and security.
He said, “Pakistan honoured us, gave us opportunities for the education and training of our children, and supported us in difficult moments of life. Our livelihood has run out here, now it is time to leave.”
This emotional statement by the Afghan refugee shows that Pakistan’s hospitality has earned a special place in the hearts of Afghan refugees. They are not only grateful for Pakistan’s hospitality but are also moving towards their future with a positive and hopeful spirit upon their return home.
