PDMA official, two injured in Bannu gun attack: Police

 

BANNU: Including an official of the provincial disaster management authority (PDMA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, two persons were injured in a firing incident near Kashu Pul, in Bannu on Friday night.

According to the police, the PDMA Officer Adnan Ali Shah, who is the cousin of the Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shahab Ali Shah, and his companion were injured in the firing.

Police said unknown terrorists had set up a blockade on the main road and opened indiscriminate fire at the vehicle when it did not stop.

PDMA Officer Shahid and Adnan Ali Shah were returning to Bannu from Karak.

The driver saved their lives by driving away from the punctured vehicle

Both injured in the firing have been shifted to Khalifa Gulnaz Hospital for treatment.
