Zardari, Shehbaz Urge Compassion, Unity in Eid Messages

Pakistanis across the nation marked Eid ul Fitr on Monday  with religious fervour and traditional festivities, offering special prayers for peace, prosperity, and national solidarity.

The celebrations began with congregational prayers at mosques and Eidgahs, where worshippers sought divine blessings for the country’s stability and progress. Families gathered to exchange greetings, share festive meals, and distribute Eidi among children, upholding cherished traditions

Leadership Emphasizes Compassion, National Unity

President Zardari’s Message
President Asif Ali Zardari urged citizens to remember the less fortunate by fulfilling their obligations of  Zakat  and  Fitrana. He described Eid as a divine reward for the sacrifices of Ramadan and called for unity to overcome national challenges. He also expressed solidarity with Kashmiris and Palestinians enduring oppression.

PM Shehbaz’s Appeal

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted Eid’s spirit of gratitude and empathy, urging Pakistanis to remain steadfast against extremism and external threats. He paid tribute to security forces battling terrorism and reiterated support for Kashmir and Palestine.

Armed Forces Honor Martyrs’ Sacrifices
The military leadership, in a statement by ISPR, honored fallen soldiers who safeguard the nation’s sovereignty. They emphasized unity and patriotism as core values, urging citizens to uphold the sacrifices of the country’s defenders.
